The material is based on my Fulbright Distinguished Award of Teaching project in the Indiana University in fall 2015. The goal of the project was to learn which learner-centered teaching methods used by the U.S. secondary education teachers have proved successful in enhancing student engagement and motivation. 14 learner-centered teaching methods were described and instructions how to use these methods were given. A template for sharing teaching methods among teachers and a protocol of a Fair Share workshop for sharing teaching methods in a school were provided. In addition to that, some ideas for teacher and school development were introduced in the material.
